Life Journal    
Interactive Daily Bible readings.  Bishop Wills' journal entries are posted.  Users may also enter their own journal writings in a private secure area, and may participate in a public blog area to discuss the issues raised by the daily readings.  Selections are the Life Journal daily readings, used by Bishop Wills, the Cabinet and many of the clergy and laity of our conference.

LivingWeb Lectionary Project, an outside service of the WebServant under development since 1989.  Provides links to the Sunday readings and a variety of study resources.

Databases

	Information Management System Sharepoint CMS for Windows networking.  Includes drive mapping to shared files, sharing of Microsoft Office data files such as Access and Excel.  Connects the various conference related data structures, and provides information and announcements pertaining to our information management.
	Data Management Center UNIX data structures, being phased out as items are migrated to the newer Sharepoint CMS.

Domains

	Memphis-UMC.org Core Wide Area Network structure.  Includes mail server (webmail, POP mail boxes, Listserver, address forwarding, etc.), website with MS Front Page extensions, Windows Media Server (streaming audio and video capabilities), subdomain DNS registration, and more.  Hosted on SimpleHost UNIX servers with OC-12 communication lines.
	Memphis-UMC.com Redirects to Memphis-UMC.org
	Memphis-UMC.net Virtual Office enables file sharing and collaboration with direct drive mapping in Windows, SharePoint Content Manager, and many other features.   Hosted on Reinvent MS SharePoint servers with T3 communication lines.
	Additional Servers Several services are hosted on the services of other domains to provide enhanced capabilities.  These include LivingWeb Library (search engine, backup, utility), UMC.org (Village, Find-a-Church, denominational discussion groups and resources).

Security Access

	All public areas of the conference system are open access without login requirements.
	Security level structures are applied with password protection to those areas requiring restricted access including databases, data management, file uploads, system maintenance, etc.
