and service to our shoppers. You can find a large variety of men's, women's, and children's
clothing and shoe's for a fraction of the cost of other resale shops. Adult clothing prices
range from $2.00 to $5.00 for basic tops, bottoms, coats and shoes. Children's clothing starts
at 50 cents. We also carry ladies formal wear and wedding dresses starting at $7.00. You will
find the store neatly arranged so you can easily find exactly what you are shopping for. We
carry jeans in most sizes, ladies plus sizes, junior sizes big and tall. Our friendly staff
is always happy to help in any way possible to make your shopping experience a very pleasant one.
As you shop, you can enjoy listening to a variety of Christian singers and gospel music.
Some of our shoppers say that stopping by The New To You Shop makes their whole day better!!!
The shopping hours for The New To You Shop are 8 AM to 4 PM Tuesday thru Friday.
The store is also open on Saturday from 8 AM until 2 PM.
Donations
All of the items available for resale in the store are from items donated by our very generous community. All donations are sorted by season, put on hangers and then sized in the store for your shopping convenience. Our workers strive to offer the best quality clothing and merchandise that we have available.
If you would like to donate items to The New To You Shop, our hours for receiving donations are Wednesday thru Friday, 8 AM until 3 PM. Saturday's receiving hours are 8 AM until noon. We hope your donation arrive clean and in good condition. We accept donations either on hangers or in bags. Your donations are tax-deductible and we can provide you with a donation receipt. We ask that donations not be left outside after hours due to damage from the weather.
Youth
Young adults get nice clothes for low prices. Some of the hottest fashions look a little worn anyway. Why pay high prices with your friends at the mall when you can buy twenty outfits for what you might pay for one at a retail location?
And just in case you are looking for name brands like American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch, or Tommy Hilfiger, don't worry. There are new donations made every day. Sooner or later, those name brands turn up and someone goes home with a a new designer outfit for less than five dollars!
There are school clothes, play clothes, dress clothes, and even shoes that are just what you were looking for. And the prices cannot be beaten.
Grab a box, empty your closet of clothes that you don't wear anymore, and
make room for the new stuff. Bring that box in, and then shop a while. You'll
be glad you did!
Volunteers
You'll also
find helpful volunteers waiting to check you out. Churches from all over
the county, and not just United Methodist, send volunteers to work on a rotating
basis. In other words, there is a waiting list for those who want to help
out at The New to You Shop.
Volunteers are never turned away, though. There's always room for people who are wanting to help out.
