Financial Education

As a supplement to our Crisis Ministry, McUMC is proud to offer counseling for individuals, couples, or families who are experiencing financial difficulties. Often we see people who have made bad financial choices such as overspending or misplaced priorities. This is not because they are bad people, but because no one ever bothered to explain how finances work.

The class will cover a wide variety of information on financial topics.

  • Checking Accounts and How They Work

  • Budgeting
  • Good Credit & Bad Credit
  • Getting Out of Debt
  • The Credit Card Trap
  • Loans/Loan Consolidation
  • Biblical Understanding of Money

Counseling is by appointment only. For an appointment, or for more information on these and other aspects of your McUMC cooperative ministry, contact Jerri Cross at (270) 527-5147.
