 Lakeland Wesley Village is nestled on a 100-acre campus near beautiful Kentucky Lake. The Village offers the secure environment of a planned affordable retirement community with access to supportive services that enable seniors to live independently.
All the leisure activities of the nearby Kentucky Lake area are there for residents’ enjoyment. You may choose to live in one of four choices in the Village: One-bedroom Atrium Apartments (rental-assisted), Duplex Garden Homes, Fourplex Garden Homes or Two-bedroom Duplex Villas. All residents have access to the services available at Lakeland Wesley Village.

From the Pastoral Care staff that provides non-denominational worship, family and grief counseling and visitation to the Service Coordinator, who assists residents in finding services available through local and state agencies, the Village is committed to supportive services for its residents. COMMUNITY IMAGES

 In the center of Lakeland Wesley Village sits the Village Square. It houses most of the services and personnel that keep the Village running. The staff offices are there, as is the convenience store. Residents come to purchase food and supplies, and stop in for a visit to staff on duty. In the Hope and Healing Center, residents can get health screenings and information from area nurses. The library houses a Computer Learning Center along with books and periodicals. The exercise and fitness room, craft room and beauty shop are there for residents who choose to use them. The Village bus takes residents to planned activities off the campus and each week to nearby shopping areas. Weekly worship services are in the chapel, and the large Community Room with its own kitchen house birthday parties, potluck dinners, resident breakfast gatherings and other social events.
Also available to residents who choose to participate are the Meals on Wheels lunch program (five days a week) and the residents’ garden area, where they may plant flowers and vegetables for their personal use.
For years, a group of volunteer residents have played in the Village Panhandlers Kitchen Band. They entertain at area nursing homes, civic occasions and in their own community. The Band is a great ambassador for "living young" at Lakeland Wesley Village.

ONE-BEDROOM ATRIUM APARTMENTS

 These affordable 1-bedroom apartments are located facing a common atrium, where tropical gardens grow all year long. The sidewalks adjacent to the atrium area offer an indoor walkway where residents can exercise without getting outside in inclement weather. The apartments share common activity areas where residents can enjoy Lakeland Wesley Village’s activities and many services. The buildings are across the street from the Village Square. |
