The 1998 Memphis Annual Conference approved a resolution to adopt a Conference-wide standard for child safety. This resolution resulted in the exploration and adoption of the Safe Sanctuaries program.
Not only does this program offer practical advice for preventing sexual abuse of children and youth, it provides information about liability and insurance factors as well. Our main priority as a Conference is to provide safety for our children--your children.
